My name is
MASKADY
I am a freelance 2D animator based in Nantes, France.Passionate about animation since childhood, I began drawing inspired by Akira Toriyama and the films of Hayao Miyazaki. Later, I explored more mature and distinctive works such as Akira, Paprika, and Samurai Champloo, which shaped my narrative sensibility and approach to staging and movement.After five years of study and earning a Master’s degree in Animation Film Direction at ECV Nantes, I completed internships at La Pompadour Studio and Holy Bird Studio before establishing my freelance company, Yann Le Guerroué Animation. I worked five months as lead animator at WNDR Studio (Saudi Arabia) and on various freelance projects, consolidating the experience and resources needed for my personal project.From January to December 2025, I have been fully dedicated to developing and directing my short film Knight Garden, a project that allows me to express my artistic vision and assert my voice as an auteur-director. This film is the culmination of my journey, combining technical skill, narrative sensitivity, and a lifelong passion for animation to create an original and immersive universe.
